In this installation I combine ceramic and textile elements, exploring the idea that every connection between all patrs of our world has a dynamic potential. A potential that also exists in certain combination of objects.

In the Asian tradition, this potential is called „SHI“.

The SHI if a system constantly changes- it is the mood or character of the whole; it shifts over time and its elements transform.

The installation represents a meeting of various elements, where on the one hand, they join forces, and on the other, each retain their uniqueness.

The invisible link raises an important question about how diversity ans similarity coexists and are key aspects of nature, what we might consider otherworldly or „alien“ turns out to be much closer to us then we might imagine.
